A good mentorship program has the ability to truly transform and change one’s life. Lynn LaBorde’s Transformational Alchemy Mentorship Program provides nothing short of that. With her multifaceted encompassing mentorship program, she has already positively impacted the lives of many people.
One of her former students, Alicia Munia, sat down with current mentorship client JoAnn Cooper to discuss the impact this program has had on her life.
Alicia: Lynn’s mentorship program has transformed the lives of many. What made you decide to sign up?
JoAnn: I have been A Course in Miracles (ACIM) student for about 15 years. Last fall, I was inspired to dive more deeply into those spiritual studies. I joined the Channeling Jesus Mighty Networks platform which focuses on ACIM and I met Lynn LaBorde. She started an online ACIM discussion group. In that group, Lynn invited me to learn to read the Akashic Records with her. Later, I found out about her mentorship program. I thought the mentorship program would be too intensive but something inside of me urged me to sign up. I have been one of her mentees for about 6 weeks and it has truly transformed my entire life.
Alicia : Many people say that Lynn sees your potential even when you don’t see it in yourself. What was your experience with this?
JoAnn: Lynn doesn’t take no for an answer. If you are experiencing a blockage she will help identify it and clear it. She has given me the confidence to keep going even when I was not sure I could.
Alicia: What did you learn with Lynn?
JoAnn: First I learned how to read the Akashic Records, then she taught me the Psychic Surgery technique, then I learned the Clean Slate process and most recently I received the Level 1 Reiki attunement. Next week I am doing the channeling workshop at her sohmalife sanctuary. Lynn has guided me every step of the way and provided me with so many different spiritual and healing tools. Although I feel this amazing connection to Source, I sometimes felt intimidated by others whose connection to and gifts from Spirit seemed deeper or outside my skill set. Lynn helped me to expand my comfort zone and jump right into everything. I realized that I had the same abilities as other people that I admired. In fact, she helped me to awaken and realize that so many of these capabilities are already deeply within me. I am learning to bring them to the surface and be of service to Spirit which is my life's path.
Alicia: What are some of the major lessons that you learned through this program?
JoAnn: Lynn has this power to make you look at things that you don’t want to see. She is not afraid to push you out of your comfort zone and embrace your higher power. She helped me realize I could truly live up to my full potential.
Alicia: Lynn uses the slogan, “Warning: after this mentoring program your life is going to completely change.” It is so unexpected in the way that your life shifts through this program. How has mentoring with Lynn shifted your life and changed your perspective?
JoAnn: I came out of one of the mentoring sessions and I realized how expansive my spiritual power is. It made me grow in ways I did not expect. The slogan should be “Wear loose clothing, you’re going to grow.”
Alicia: In just six weeks of working with her, what is some of the growth that you’ve already seen?
JoAnn: I work for the U.S government here in DC. The government is not known for being an incubator for people's personal creativity. I turned those limitations into personal grievances with bosses. Doing this training helped me to realize that my bosses are projections of my own limited thinking. This allowed me to be more open minded and made me more forgiving. It shifted my perspective from being judgmental to being more accepting and seeing it as an opportunity to be of service to the greater good.
Alicia: What qualities would you use to describe Lynn?
JoAnn: During one of the study groups, we wrote love letters to each other to appreciate the light of God in one another. Here is the opening line of my letter to Lynn. “Dear Lynn, Game of Thrones has it’s Daenerys Stormborn. We have you. Channeler of Deities, Leader of Meditations, Manifestor of Groups, Reader of Records and Cards, Expander of Boundaries, Breaker of Comfort Zones and Healer of Broken Souls.” She has been studying so many different facets of everything and it’s incredible to see that depth of knowledge. She bridges the gap between my egoic mind and my heart. Regardless of your level as a student of spirituality Lynn will meet you where you are and bring you to your fullest potential.
Alicia: What advice would you offer anyone who is considering working with Lynn?
JoAnn: Becoming a mentee of Lynn is the most valuable investment I have ever made in myself. It doesn’t matter where you are in your life. If you think you can’t do it, go to her. If you think you know enough, go to her. She will expand your boundaries and open your mind beyond your current awarenesss of self. Akashic Records readings blow the lid off of your understanding of who you have thought yourself to be. Darkness may surface and it can be a very strong and overwhelming experience. If painful memories arise, with Lynn's guidance you are able to heal these aspects of yourself and your past. This is an all encompassing journey as it is about honoring both the darkness and the light within. It doesn’t matter what resistance you have to your own spirituality, Lynn has a tool and will help you clear anything you need to step forth into your greatness and personal power. If you love yourself, just do it.
