lynn's story
An Early Awakening
When Lynn LaBorde Eastman was 11 years old, her mother gave her a copy of The Sleeping Prophet, a chronicle of the life of Edgar Cayce. The most documented 20th century psychic, Cayce could go into a trance and retrieve information from the Akashic Records, including stories of a person's past lives, as well as methodologies for healing physical, emotional, and mental ailments or afflictions. Cayce described his work as offering "helpfulness and hopefulness" to the souls who sought his skills. Appealing to Lynn's own natural intuitive abilities, Cayce's style of practice was somehow very familiar to her, sparking her innate spiritual curiosity and launching her own psychic journey to discover what lies beyond physical reality.
In the 1970s and 80s, in addition to the Sleeping Prophet, the only other metaphysical books that Lynn could find were Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Daniken, Out on a Limb and Don’t Fall Off the Mountain by Shirley MacLaine, and the Seth Material by Jane Roberts, which Lynn devoured. Hungry to increase her understanding of physical self-mastery, Lynn began a meditation practice. She learned to breathe in to the count of 10, hold for a count of 3 and then exhale for a count of 10, developing remarkable lung capacity, which was particularly helpful during her 400 hours of yoga teacher training in 2005 and 2011. To this day, Lynn maintains that nothing heals the body more quickly and deeply than yoga.
Training to Ignite the Light
Divine Evolution
At 18, Lynn participated in the est training, where she was introduced to the concept that the world she lived in was an illusion, a learning experience that strengthened her desire to understand the multidimensional aspects of her own existence. In 1980, through est, Lynn met her first life mentor, Harold Croucher, who told her that she was so much more than her physical reality, thereby initiating Lynn’s quest to understand the metaphysics involved in spiritual healing.
Lynn met her second life mentor, Alan Walter, in 1989. Alan had been part of the Scientology community for 28 years but left it after L. Ron Hubbard passed away. Alan then created his own organization called Power Leadership. Lynn trained with Alan for 8 years and became a masterful Level 3 practitioner. She learned to help others deeply process their trapped and blocked energies, thus providing them with tremendous freedom in every aspect of their beingness.
Lynn’s next life mentor was Rev. Marlene Morris. The two met in 1994 when Lynn began her study to become a licensed practitioner with the Church of Religious Science, created by Dr. Ernest Holmes. Rev. Marlene, a dynamic and powerful minister, teacher, healer and speaker, embodied the strength, grace and honesty that Lynn strove to impart through her own spiritual practice.
In 1995 in Hawaii, Lynn met Reiki Master Maureen O’Shaughnessy and they became dear friends. During her Level 1 Reiki attunement that Lynn received from Maureen, Lynn had an extraordinary experience. With three practitioner’s hands upon her body, the lights in the room began to flicker, Lynn began to tremble, and she tried to speak an unknown name aloud. Suddenly, a golden beam of light from above hit Lynn's third eye. The word “Hathor” flew from Lynn's lips and the symbol of a sun disc and cow horns appeared to her. She sat up and asked for a pen and paper and recorded the name and the symbol. This incident began a flood of past life memories of Lynn being a priestess and teacher at the temples of Hathor in ancient Egypt thousands of years ago. Eventually, Lynn completed her training and became an ordained Reiki Master.
Lynn met her fourth life mentor, Dr. Vernon Woolf, also in Hawaii in 1996. Dr. Woolf studied how human consciousness functions and created a body of work known as Holodynamics to help people transform the world through their spiritual and mental energy. Lynn studied with Dr. Woolf for 5 years and became certified as a teacher in his organization. The techniques and processes she learned there blended beautifully with the healing skills she had mastered with Alan Walter.
In 2004, while living in San Francisco, Lynn met her next life mentor, Sharon Jeffers, who began to teach Lynn the Cards of Destiny. Lynn did a year-long apprenticeship, eventually mastering the card system known as the Star of the Magi, using the Ancient Book of Time. Lynn later continued her studies with Christopher Littlefield and Thomas Morrell, both masters of this extraordinary system of divination.
In 2006, Lynn received a small silver box from her sister and aunt who both lived in New York. The box contained a deck of cards, five dice with playing cards etched on each side and crumbling newspaper clippings from the 1920s. The contents of the box had belonged to Lynn's maternal grandmother, Elsie Pursel Weil. The clippings were about the hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades card suits; the foundations of the Cards of Destiny. It turns out that Lynn’s grandmother, who died before Lynn's mother married her father, was also a reader of the cards and a spiritual mystic.
In 2008, Lynn’s next life mentor relationship began with a Kabbalah teacher named David Ghiyam from the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles. During a trip to Israel in 2009, Lynn laid her hands on the gravestone of a kabbalist known as The Rabbi Shalom Sharabi. A golden shaft of light streamed from the sky encircling Lynn and the spirit of the being from the grave began to talk to her. Lynn’s abilities as a medium opened during this mystical experience.

In 2016, Lynn returned home to New York to care for and be closer to her family, including her mother Sue, her sister Pam and her Aunt Jane. Little did Lynn know she was walking into the next evolution of her psychic and spiritual development.
Shortly after arriving in New York, Lynn met a young man named James Bazakos whose shared interests in meditation and spiritual healing led them to create the sohmalife sanctuary.
In 2017, before the opening of the sohmalife sanctuary Lynn began her first psychic development training. In this class, another student channeled Lynn’s maternal grandmother, Elsie. Grandma Elsie came to tell Lynn that not only did Lynn have the gift but that her mother, her sister, her niece, as well as Elsie’s mother and Elsie’s grandmother were all touched by spirit and gifted with psychic abilities.

Also in 2017, during a meditation class, Pallas Athena, the daughter of Zeus, came to Lynn, beginning Lynn's journey to becoming a full body trance channel.
Wendy Gayle is Lynn’s seventh life mentor and long-time friend. A channel for more than 25 years, Wendy has channeled Archangel Metatron since 2006. After Lynn's meditative experience with Athena, Wendy invited Lynn to begin channeling the Greek goddess. Lynn initially refused, saying that she had seen the movie Ghost and had no interest in having anyone slip into her body, as she had observed with Whoopi Goldberg in the film.
Wendy assured Lynn the process of full body trance channeling was much more of a shortcut to spiritual transformation than any hokey pokey she might have seen in a movie. Lynn then began her one-on-one training with Wendy, an education that altered the landscape of Lynn's existence. Lynn now channels Athena; Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of women; Mary Magdalene, the wife of Jesus; Miriam, the mother of Jesus; Archangel Michael and Sanat Kumara.
In 2017, Lynn received her ministerial license in the Order of Melchizedek through Reverend Dan Chesbro. Rev. Chesbro has the distinction of ordaining more than 16,000 ministers over 30 years within this Order and is a deep and loving presence in Lynn’s life.

In June 2018, Lynn completed her training as an Advanced Akashic Records practitioner. Of all the training that Lynn has received, no single body of work has left a greater mark nor changed the course of her life as deeply as this soul level resource.
Lynn’s most recent life mentors include Christine Ferraro as her business mastery coach, Dylan Stewart as her life mastery coach and her Kabbalah teacher Yosef Yeshurun as her spiritual mastery coach. Lynn considers these three to be her holy trinity of guidance for her soul’s current ascension and evolution.

Lynn’s journey, from her early exposure to Edgar Cayce so many years ago through decades of spiritual growth and transcendence, has made her into the healer, teacher, and mentor that she is today. Lynn calls herself a Transformational Alchemist, helping turn people’s personal darkness into light as an alchemist turns lead into gold. Lynn's greatest strength, however, is that by harnessing the spiritual and healing wisdom of the ages, she sees the clearest path to help her clients return to the healthy natural state that is the birthright of the sacred, beloved, and divine beings they truly are.
